I am now Lcpl Walters, United States Marine Corps!
I finished bootcamp October 9th with 3rd RTBN, CO India, PLT 3216. I was the guide of my platoon, and was then picked as the company honorman. That means I was the best of the best. Out of 555 Marines, I was the best one, and received an additional meritorious promotion after my first one to Private First Class from my starting rank of Private.
I did very well in bootcamp, shooting Expert, scoring a 1st Class PFT and CFT, swimming high qualification in swim, and other random events.
I feel fantastic, like a million bucks
